Bride and Groom wearing moody, Halloween wedding outfits.

Homewood Asheville Wedding Venue is one of our favorite venues in the area and it comes very highly recommended by so many of our past brides and clients. If you are on the lookout for venues in Asheville, there are just so many to consider and choose from. We know that it can get extremely overwhelming for that reason. So to help, I'm writing out all of the things we love about this space and why we think it should be in your top choices!

Homewood Asheville Wedding Venue

Homewood wedding venue is just a short, two-minute drive from the heart of downtown Asheville, NC. Not just downtown, but in the historic Victorian area. It's a great neighborhood and just a mile or so from the French Broad River. There are several Airbnbs and Bed and Breakfast options for your guests to stay in if they are coming from out of town. It's also just 10 minutes from the Grove Park Inn, which is one of the biggest, most luxurious hotels in Asheville- another great spot for your guests to reside for the week!

This venue is quite literally a castle straight from a Pinterest wedding board. Brooke and Sean are from Raleigh, so most of their planning was online, over the phone, and not only that, but it was the middle of a pandemic as well. However, Homewood knocked it out of the park with their assistance. The in-house team of planners always stays on top of everything needed.

Moody Halloween Wedding

Brooke and I hit it off immediately because we had several things in common. The first is her love for Halloween. She told me she was planning on wearing a two-piece, black wedding gown and I knew it was a match made for heaven. My own wedding dress was black, and I actually got married on Halloween weekend as well. I also knew that Homewood was going to be a great fit because of the elegant, moody features it brings to the table. It has cherry hardwood floors, a stone fireplace, black walls, and 20-foot ceilings. The iron ballroom chandelier is candlelit and center of the dance floor. It really does encompass all of the Halloween vibes if that's what you are looking for. You'll see for yourself when you look through the gallery below!

The Best Features Homewood Offers

Although I would love to go into detail about each feature the venue offers, this blog post can only be so long! So to save you some time, here are the highlights of the space and all of the best reasons why it's on top of our list:

  • The garden ceremony space located on the side of the castle
  • The stone staircase at the entrance of the venue, and all of the stonework on the backside as well
  • A Bridal suite located in a historic home right next door
  • The Great Room can seat 100+ guests
  • Newly renovated, graveled outdoor cocktail space featuring string lights and cocktail tables
  • Photo opportunities galore, including a large, grassy field across the street
  • Several included rental items such as tables, chairs, linens, china, candlesticks, and more

If you would like to set up a venue tour with them or ask them any other questions that I wasn't able to answer for you, you should certainly visit their website here.
