Asheville, North Carolina, is renowned for its breathtaking views which is why so many of our couples choose Laurel Falls Wedding Venue as their wedding location. The majority of my couples are from out of town, similar to Anna and Anthony who reside in Florida but wanted to exchange vows in the mountains. It's truly an incredible spot that completely surrounds you in nature without having to be in a no-service area or having to hike 10 miles to the top of a mountain. With all of the natural beauty, Laurel Falls has become a dream Asheville destination for couples seeking a top-tier wedding experience.

Laurel Falls Wedding Venue in Asheville

Imagine exchanging vows in front of a perfect view of the blue ridge mountains, taking couples portraits in front of cascading waterfalls, and celebrating surrounded by wildflowers. At Laurel Falls, nature truly takes center stage and we know how important this is when looking for a venue in the mountains. It is truly a nature-lover's haven, offering an escape from the hustle and bustle of the nearby city.

The venue features an outdoor ceremony space where couples can exchange vows in front of the mountains. Like the picture above, you can opt to stand on the large boulder or in front of it instead. The ceremony area overlooks a pond as well as the reception barn below the view.

A few other features that are located up by the ceremony space are:

  • A full cabin for getting ready and prep
  • Outdoor bathrooms
  • A covered patio at the top of the hill
  • A grassy area in the shade for the sunny days
  • It's just a very short walk to the nearby waterfall for photos after the ceremony ends

Rustic Elegance & Architecture

Laurel Falls strikes the perfect balance between rustic charm and elegant sophistication. The venue's architecture seamlessly blends into the natural environment making it the perfect mountainside choice. The reception hall is a masterpiece of wooden craftsmanship that gives super rustic vibe without being too "country". It's very organic with vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and string lights to give it a romantic ambiance.

The barn is smaller, so it's typically used for the buffet, finger foods and the cake table. But some of our clients have used it to share a first dance or toasts inside while guests watch from their tables outside the building. If you scroll down, you'll see that there is a concrete space with string lights for all the farm reception tables. It overlooks the mountains and trees and it truly is such a gorgeous spot. Some of the outdoor reception features are:

  • The string lights which are super important for a romantic ambiance that most of our couples look for
  • Easy to access bathroom that are sparkling clean
  • A side patio for cocktail tables and chairs
  • A very short walk from the lower bridal house which is great for the caterers to use, bridesmaids to touch up their makeup, and for you to bustle your dress
  • There's also a small field located right beside the fence which is sporting a firepit that's perfect for late nights. We've also had a few couples put some fun games such as cornhole for guests to play during reception and cocktail hour.
