Our obsession with Weaver House has no limits! Nestled in the heart of the charming town of Weaverville, North Carolina, the Weaver House is a beautiful wedding venue that offers a perfect blend of rustic and elegant charm.

It's a gorgeous spot that's hidden right in the heart of downtown Weaverville. Just an easy, short, ten minute drive outside of downtown Asheville, it is a great choice for brides who want a romantic. backyard, garden vibe. Below are all of our reasons why we think that you should give this venue a chance during your search!

Weaver House Wedding Venue

This venue is a newer venue, built in 2018, constructed solely to serve brides to the fullest extent. From the inside out, it was built to be the perfect spot for weddings of all sizes. It's main feature is the hand-constructed timber frame building. It has gorgeous pine floors and tall ceilings . It's a classic elegance that really does make it an ideal choice for couples who are looking for a venue that is both timeless and unique. In addition to the aesthetic of the space, the Weaver House also offers a variety of different amenities to make your wedding day as stress-free as possible. They provide tables, chairs, linens and tableware, as well as setup and cleanup services.

The Gardens

The Weaver House wedding venue is a little piece of of Japan right in the small town of Weaverville, North Carolina. The grounds are covered in traditional Japanese gardens and it takes us back to our time photographing this stunning Japan elopement. When we spoke to one of the venue owners at our last wedding there, she told us that their gardener was one of the only certified Japanese gardeners on the east coast- making them even more special than they already were! But truly, it creates such an elegant space for our clients. We always take advantage of the Japanese maples for couples portraits. There is also a tranquil koi pond located right in front of the ceremony arbor. In fact, there is a stone pathway that walks across leading to the space. Brides, be careful in those heels!

Deluxe Bridal Suite

Their deluxe bridal suite is another reason you'll love it here. With a large vanity mirror and three barstools, it makes for a great area for your hair and makeup vendors to take care of you and your bridesmaids while keeping the timeline right on track. Some other great feature are: the large sitting area behind them, a private bathroom, and a full body mirror so that you won't miss a single thing before walking down the aisle! Another bonus? The double doors that lead from the back deck to the bridal suite. It makes it easy to hide away from the groom for bridal photos in the back garden.

Ballroom

The ballroom is where most receptions happen and it's a great, functional space for them. The space itself holds up to 150 seated guests and the venue provides tables, chairs and some other awesome wedding equipment that most others don't. One of our favorite features of the indoor space is the bar area. Every wedding is equipped with two licensed bartenders and from our own personal experience, it's a great option that allows guests to party safely and enjoy themselves. Jennie and Daniel opted to have reception tables on both sides of the ballroom, leaving the dance floor open in between. We loved the way it makes you feel as if you are "surrounded" by your family and friends.

Downtown Weaverville

Of all the awesome things about the Weaver House, the location is probably top of the list. Downtown Weaverville is a small, historic town located just a quick drive from Asheville. Growing up just 30 minutes outside of the area, I have spent the majority of my life visiting and walking the streets. It offers some delicious little small business restaurants including Twisted Laurel, Blue Mountain Pizza and Wellbred Bakery. Weaver House is fenced in right on Main Street, hidden from the public but just a short walk to any of the attractions and restaurants. And just 2 minutes away is one of our favorite lakes with a children's park and separate event space. Some of our favorite local spots are:

  • Lake Louise Park
  • Meadowbrooke Bridal
  • Wagbar - A dog park and playground that has beer on tap available for the doggy parents (very cool spot!!)
  • Glass Onion Restaurant

Overall, we kind of just love it here, y'all!! We highly recommend them to our brides who are still on the lookout for a local venue. If you'd like to set up a consultation or venue tour, you can find them here!
