Our Favorite Wedding Color Palette Ideas
We’ve put together a list of the best wedding color palette ideas we have seen over the past few years. As we were sifting through our past weddings, we realized how each one differs in color. But they all truly make for gorgeous palettes and combinations. Below, there are options for a bright, spring wedding all the way to a black, Halloween themed wedding. All in all, they are equally great options to choose from when looking for a color scheme for your own wedding day.
Blush, Gold and Greenery
This is probably the most classic choice and the most common combination of colors for the weddings we choose. Blush is, undoubtedly, the most popular color in the wedding industry (for now anyway!). But when paired with gold, they make quite an elegant pair.
Burgundy, Gold and Black
On the opposite side of the spectrum, we have a deeper set of options. Burgundy and black are a go-to combo when planning a late fall wedding. Especially if you are going for Halloween themed nuptials!
Pink, Yellow and Lavender
If you are planning a spring wedding, this option is a great pick. Shannon picked a combination of pinks, paired with brighter yellows and accented with purple and lavenders. When they all came together, it was truly a beautiful wedding color palette.
Black and Jewel Tones
You might recognize the bride in the image below. Hint: it’s totally me!! So that means I didn’t take these images. My husband and I tied the knot on Halloween. And I couldn’t go without throwing our unique color scheme into the mix. Don’t worry, blog coming soon on my own wedding!
Sky Blue and Bright Florals
Light blue isn’t a color we often see while photographing weddings. The wedding below was a summertime event, and this summery scheme was a perfect match. Who knew how great all of these bold colors would pair together?!
