I know that Thanksgiving wedding ideas are fairly hard to come by. Not many people are googling “Thanksgiving Wedding Decor”. However, something definitely brought you here and I am so glad it did. Because I cannot wait to show off this gorgeous, fall-themed wedding.
Evan and Andrew’s vow renewal looked a little different than most. Wedding vendors from all across South Carolina came together to make it a truly magical day.
For those of you that don’t know of the Big Fake Wedding, click here. To sum up, it’s a unique alternative to the typical bridal show for engaged couples. They travel across the country bringing local vendors together to celebrate real couples.
Our Favorite Thanksgiving Wedding Ideas
Brunch
You heard me! Brunch. This was a brunch-themed reception and you can NOT go wrong with croissants and orange juice. It also makes for a really cool and unique way to keep your guests happy and full.
Kraft Paper Table Cloths
Am I the only person who is obsessed with Kraft paper? It gives me very “breaking bread together” vibes. And the best part of Thanksgiving is the chance to pass food around the table and feel at home.
Perk: It can also double as a fun guest book/memo. Leave some sharpies on the table and let your guests draw away!
Dried Flowers
Use them EVERYWHERE. Put them in your bouquet, in your centerpieces, use them for your groom’s boutonniere. But don’t hold back, y’all. Dried flowers are a staple of fall and when tastefully done, can be a gorgeous way to celebrate in autumn.
Orange Color Scheme
Finally, we all know that orange color schemes for weddings are a bold move. My husband and I got married on Halloween and everyone immediately assumed orange was our go-to color. In this case, the florists and planners for this event did an outstanding job with the color scheme. They used vibrant oranges, deep reds, and greenery to pull together a November vibe.
