I became a published wedding photographer for the first time back in 2015. As a wedding photographer, being able to flash your published badges around your website is a huge plus. Although I can’t be sure just how important it may be to inquiring clients, I know it always feels great to us being able to see our work in magazines and blogs. Are you a bride looking around for a wedding vendor? If so, tell me in the comments how you are impacted by knowing they have been featured and published.
Wedding Blogs and Publications
There are all kinds of different options for submissions as a photographer. Firstly, there are a few blogs that are tailored to an exact location. But others are open to all different kinds of events and weddings! If you are a photographer looking to submit, I highly recommend Two Bright Lights. Two Bright Lights is a photo submission platform that allows you to submit directly to publishers in an easy, organized way. No more dropbox links and lengthy emails with a vendors list!
Published Wedding Photographer
I have to be honest- after I became published around 10+ times, I decided to take a step back from submitting and focus more on other areas of business. This year, however, we are picking back up and finally getting those incredible weddings and sessions out the door and into the inboxes of editors. But first, I wanted to share with you just a few of my all-time favorite published sessions. I swear I won’t make you look through them all! Just a handful. But I can’t promise I won’t share the rest of them sometime in the future.
