Graveyard Fields and Falls
First on our list is one of our favorite outdoor spots in Asheville. A majority of our elopement clients are traveling from out of town. They almost always want to embrace the nature that AVL brings. Especially the hidden areas that only the locals know (that’s us!). Initially, Graveyard Fields is a hike downhill. Making it a great choice for brides who aren’t wanting to work up a sweat before the share vows.
Highland Brewing Company
Highland Brewing Company is one of the most popular wedding venues in Asheville. But most of my inquirers have no idea that they also cater to smaller weddings as well. Hanna and Ryan cancelled their full wedding day to opt for an elopement. Highland has a mountain-view rooftop space that makes for a perfect outdoor ceremony spot.
North Carolina Arboretum
As most of our followers know, the NC Arboretum is our obsession of the year. But honestly, this is truly one of the only venues in the area that brings everything you could imagine to the table. Its floral gardens are absolutely breathtaking. As a result, it’s a great spot to exchange vows with your closest friends and family members. Buncombe County Courthouse
This one is pretty obvious. Although you can exchange quick vows right in the magistrate’s office, the courthouse itself is a stunning place for bride and groom photos. We almost always stick around after the ceremony and explore the historical areas for photography. Maria and Rami came all the way from New York City to get married in Asheville. Haiku I Do
This might be our top venue referral in the area! Haiku I Do is a venue specifically designed for intimate weddings and elopements. However, it packs quite the punch despite the size. It is just the right amount of cozy and celebratory. It also offers indoor and outdoor ceremony options.
