Overlook Barn wedding venue is one of the dreamiest I’ve seen so far. Keep reading to find

About the Overlook Barn Wedding Venue
Overlook Barn wedding venue sits on top of Beech Mountain. This stunning location offers
breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, which provides the perfect backdrop for your
ceremony or reception. This wedding venue is 6,500 square feet and rests on a multiple-acre
meadow adjacent to the barn.
Owner Katie & David got engaged in 2014 and searched for a wedding venue that highlighted
the beauty of North Carolina and didn’t have to look very far once seeing Overlook Barn. Katie’s
grandfather built this barn surrounded by meadows and forest on Beech Mountain in the 1960s,
and Katie and David purchased it from Katie’s uncle and worked to build the venue they
imagined for their special day. Since then, the couple has worked tirelessly to give other couples
the same dreamy day.
Details of the Grounds
If you’re searching for an indoor ceremony location, you can check out Cliffside Barn. This barn
offers space for cocktail hour, rehearsal dinner, or an intimate wedding. It can accommodate
150 people for a ceremony and 55 for a reception. It features 1000 sq. ft., a glass garage door
and mountain views, a heated covered deck, custom windows, a three-stall unisex restroom,
and a catering prep room. You can also check out Mary’s Meadow, a multi-acre meadow with
30+ miles of mountain views and features flexible space for intimate/large ceremonies, a
ceremony platform with a rock wall and electric hookup, and up to 200 white padded chairs
included in the rental.
For a reception space, you can utilize the Overlook Barn, renovated in 2015 to transform the
family horse barn into a space tailored to weddings and events. For a seated reception, the
space can accommodate 50 to 250 guests and 300 guests cocktail-style. The Main Hall is 4500
sq. ft. with string lights on 30 ft. ceilings with renovated stall alcoves for extra celebration space.
It also features four restrooms, a catering prep area, an outdoor gas fire pit, and an outdoor
covered pavilion with string lights. The Cliffside Barn can accommodate 200+ cocktail-style
guests or 85 seated guests.
If you’re looking for a place to host your cocktail hour or any other smaller events, you can
utilize the Cliffside Barn. Other accommodations include the Overlook Barn Home or the
Honeymoon Suite. If you want a space to get ready, you can ask to use the Styling Suite and
Polishing Room. Both feature full-length mirrors, ample lighting, electric outlets, counter space,
lounge areas, and restrooms.

Wedding Details
When booking your wedding day at this venue, you can expect the property rental time between
10 am to midnight. In addition, this venue allows you to bring in your own vendors and alcohol. It
is centrally located in the resort town of Beech Mountain, with ample accommodations,
restaurants, and activities for your guests nearby.
