Micheala and Logan’s Lake Lure Engagement Session was one for the books. During our pre-engagement email conversation, Micheala asked me her opinion on picking a location for the shoot. I told her that I highly recommend picking a spot that holds lots of meaning to both of them. My husband and I had our own engagement photos taken enjoying two bowls of ramen at our favorite Thai restaurant in Knoxville, TN. They are still hanging on our walls to this day!
Although picking a location is hard, these two absolutely made the right decision. They chose to rent out a boat on the lake for a few hours before sunset. This was so special because they work at the boat rental place together. That just so happened to be where they met and started their relationship. Not only that, but Logan proposed to Michaela in the exact same spot they are sitting below. I was beyond honored that they allowed me to share such a special piece of their life with them. And I cannot wait to be a part of their Lake Lure Wedding in the fall.
LAKE LURE ENGAGEMENT
We are beyond lucky to be a preferred vendor with The 1927 Lake Lure Inn and Spa wedding venue. It’s one of our very favorite venues, and the views just cannot be beaten. We have several upcoming weddings in the area, but in the meantime, we’ve been visiting often for engagement photos. The small, sweet little town brings the biggest views. The lake is just a major plus! Not only that, but they have a few gorgeous beach areas, a flower bridge, and is a short drive to Chimney Rock. Words cannot even express our love for Lake Lure and its adorable little community. We are so overjoyed that we get to tell so many love stories with their breathtaking background!
