Knoxville Wedding Photographers
Fate brought us to this Knoxville rooftop elopement and we are so glad that it did. Although we live in Asheville, Knoxville quickly became a place of happiness for me. At the time, my now-husband had resided there for over 15 years. We fell in love in the city and it was truly a blessing to be able to expand our business into Knox county. Today, we have lots of clients and weddings in the area and I am so glad that we do. The good food and beer is just a plus!
Knoxville Rooftop Elopement
Over the past year, our schedule has seen a much more than average amount of elopements due to COVID. However, not all of them are because of the pandemic. Eloping is kind of insanely awesome, y’all. And it was awesome long before larger events and weddings were being cancelled due to governor’s orders. This one took place a year or so before the virus took over the country. So there was honestly no other reason for the two of them to choose an intimate wedding except for the fact that they just rock. I stand by that statement and so do all of my clients who choose this path as well! We have never had a bride and groom regret their decision to go small.
Allison and Mikkel exchanged vows on the rooftop of a downtown parking garage. This garage in particular overlooks the sun sphere – one of Knoxville’s prime tourist attractions. As the shared their love for one another, it sat in the background as the sun set behind them. Lots of our clients choose an Asheville waterfall elopement or nature-fueled location. But we truly love it when we get to explore the city and capture the beauty of the architecture.
