This was our first wedding at Homewood Wedding Venue in Asheville, North Carolina. When I first became a wedding photographer in the area, this venue was only a dream for my brand new business. Now ten years later, I’ve nearly covered my entire wedding venue wishlist for the AVL area. However, I still have my eyes set on so many others across the country. Maybe I should do a post about those as well?! Hey, girl! Totally hit me up if you get married at Oheka Castle in New York!
Homewood Wedding Venue in Asheville
Firstly, Asheville just so happens to have multiple castle style wedding venues. In particular, this one is the more intimate option out of the two. The Biltmore Estate is the second option if you are specifically looking for extra. Homewood is tucked just a few streets from downtown Asheville. But you wouldn’t know how close to the city it sits just by looking at it.
The showstopper of the venue is the outside view. It’s a rock castle, complete with some seriously incredible historic architecture. It truly makes you feel like a medieval princess (or something else that’s really cool). There are several different ceremony options: the Great Room, the side pavilion, and the lower woods area. All are wonderful options. However, Sarah and Dylan chose the side pavilion for their vows.
Asheville Wedding Packages
Homewood allows you to pick any wedding vendor you like, aside from catering. That allows you to pick any photographer you have your heart set on. That makes us really happy, y’all. We love inclusive venues- that’s how we get the opportunity to work with new venues and Asheville wedding vendors every year.
They also offer floristry design as well. The flowers you see in these images were part of their wedding package!
Obviously, we are so thankful to have been able to capture this wedding and get to work with the wonderful vendors at Homewood. We cannot wait to be back soon!
