Taylor’s boho bridal session is one I will probably be sharing for years to come. Rightfully so, because her dress is one of the most gorgeous, boho wedding dresses I have had the pleasure of photographing. Shortly after this shoot with her, she and her partner Daniel had an incredibly perfect Boone, NC wedding at The Inn at Crestwood. Don’t worry, I won’t go without putting those on the blog to share with you all. Because truly, it was too perfect not to put out into the world.
What are Bridal Photos?
Something that may earn its own separate blog post in the future is an explanation of pre-wedding (American) bridal sessions. After moving up north to the city, I quickly realized how few and far between these were. Because of that, I spent lots of time explaining to fellow photographers what a bridal session consisted of down South. For example, Taylor booked this session to showcase herself as a bride. She had professional hair and makeup done and broke out all of her wedding day gear as planned. We spent the entire afternoon enjoying the sunset and capturing Taylor dancing around in her wedding dress!
Boho Bridal Session
Taylor wanted boho and Taylor got boho. Obviously, those sleeves are pretty much the definition of a bohemian bride and I was totally living for it. She had the most gorgeous greenery-inspired bouquet made by Log House Florist. And she topped off the entire look with a jeweled headpiece and long curls going down her back. The session itself was at the wedding venue in Boone, NC. The sunset went behind the trees and we got the most perfect golden hour we could have ever asked for. Absolutely gorgeous! I am such a sucker for a bridal session, especially this one!
