Asheville Senior Photographer

It seems like it’s been a decade since I was looking for an Asheville senior photographer for myself. Even then, there truly weren’t that many options for me to choose from. Most students opt to just use their school yearbook photographers. However, some prefer to find someone who can capture their personalities more so than with just a traditional cap and gown photo. We do specialize in creating images that are more on the creative and unique side. But that doesn’t mean we can’t also do some awesome cap and gown photos! Your senior should be able to get the best of both worlds when locking down their photographer.

One of the best parts of being an Asheville senior photographer (or just an Asheville photographer in general!) is the ability to shoot at some incredible locations. Asheville offers some of the most beautiful mountain views in the entirety of North Carolina. Call us lucky, but we like to take full advantage of those views. If possible, we like to shoot with our clients around sunset. But we aren’t always promised a gorgeous golden hour! Caroline wanted a sunset, and we got incredibly lucky. We were able to shoot with her as the sun set behind the Blue Ridge Mountains and everyone left feeling so happy!

What to wear for senior photos?

We get asked this question quite often. The best answer I can give? Something they feel comfortable and confident in! Seriously, there is no pressure on wearing something too formal, or something not formal enough. Whatever your senior feels best in is what they should sport for their session. We also like to encourage them to choose something that expresses their personality and who they are as teens. It’s always important to be yourself. And your outfit and location choices should reflect that!
